Mario Party Evening

It seems to have become the new event. My sister, her boyfriend, my wife, and I have been playing Mario Party 5 in the evenings. Its pretty cool, since I really don’t see much of my sis’s boyfriend otherwise. It also is pretty good at getting us all laughing. The games can run a little long — over 2 hours — but it is worth that little less of sleep.

Unfortunately 3 out of my 4 controllers are not working properly. They all involve the A-button. If there is anyone out there reading this in cyber-space. Do not buy MadCatz controllers! If it was just one controller, I wouldn’t think that there was something there, but 3? I don’t abuse my controllers, and actually they aren’t used all that much. I store them in an okay place. There is no reason that they should be so screwed up. I will never buy from MadCatz again. Shame, since I love the feel of the little one.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I broke a molar like 2 weeks ago. There was a hole in the tooth that I knew about, but it didn’t seem too big. While cleaning it out, the tooth broke to reveal that half of the tooth was hollow! At first there was no pain, and I didn’t rush. Now there is starting to be. I have been taking regular OTC pain meds daily (though not all day) and that has more or less kept it under control. Tomorrow I will have it looked at. Hopefully they will at least give me some anti-biotics to keep the infection from getting worse while I am waiting for the extraction. I do hope that they won’t just pull the tooth. I do not like the idea of completely missing a tooth. Honestly, my teeth are so screwed up from when I fell as a kid, that it would be worth it, I think, to just have them all pulled and replaced. It would certainly be faster.

My wife is crazy. She says so. [shrugs] I love her.
