Even though it feels like we have skipped over spring and have gone into summer proper, its still that time of year to clear out the old to make room for the new. That is basically what I did this weekend. I did a lot of yard work this weekend. I typically don’t do much, as my allergies usually kill me, but this time it wasn’t bad. I actually enjoyed some of it working with dad. We pruned the palmettos so that people can see down the street. I think that in total, there were 4 big contractor-sized bags of clippings and trimmings.

I still have yet to talk to Bionca about my concerns, but as this is the second time that she has been a bit emotionally volatile lately due to her hormones being screwed up. I figured that it can wait, since it is not a pressing issue, but I am still keeping it on my to do list. (I’m not going to forget, Moni.)

The house really needs to be cleaned up some too. Though actually what we need to do is to get a place. I think that next paycheck, we are going to have to go car shopping again, but this time for a used car. Bionca is going to be taking summer classes, and the schedule will be a bit crazy; therefore one car just will not cut it. Once we have a second car, she plans on getting a part time job. Hopefully she will be able to be her chorus teacher’s assistant, since that would really make things easier on her.

She is under a lot of pressure, but so far she is doing great. I am hopeful that she will continue to. I only wish that I could help her more than supporting her emotionally. I help her with her math class, but that really is a small portion of what she is working on. Maybe when she takes more gen-ed classes I will be able to help her with her homework more. If not, then at least I will still be there for her when she is feeling stressed out.

Work is weird. My job is basically a firefighter. I spring into action when there is a problem, and if I do my job right that should be kept to a minimum. Which basically leaves me with a lot of time where I am looking for things to do in the office. Sometimes I can find interesting work, and other times I am stuck removing returned cards from the database.

LOL Jas, I never doubted you. I know you will talk with her when the time is right. Remember, I trust you. :-)
