Well, its been a while since I have posted last. I have had several people point this out to me. I will have you (and future-me) know that there was a reason. I have been reading more and more about employers reading the blogs of employees and taking action due to the content therein. That is not something that I am directly concerned about, I am more worried about prejudicial reactions to me by information in my blog. Upon reflection though, I do not believe that I want to work in any place that is using such unethical practices anyway. So I am going to continue. I will, however maintain my policy of not mentioning anything about work in here.

You may have noticed a change in the look of this blog too. I have been busy over the past week or so giving it a face-lift. I think that this is a lot better than what I had previously. It still is not finished, but I think that I have a much better direction and vision for the visual style. How knows, I may even include a skin chooser in the future for fun.

A lot has happened since my last update, obviously. Bionca and I got a second car. Its a Saturn Ion too. Its red, an I am the one that drives it (it doesn’t have the upgraded features that the other one does). We had to get it so that Bionca can work some. I would prefer that she didn’t have to, but that is where we are at in this point in out lives. Hopefully I will get a raise.

We got back last week from a trip to New Mexico. Unfortunately the reason for the unexpected trip was the death of Bionca’s paternal grandmother. Bionca hasn’t been there in almost 10 years. And in that time, she really hasn’t seen nor talked to her father. Every time that they spoke (about twice a year) they fought terribly. Neither seemed able to get over what happened between her mother and him. Well, this trip ended that. When we were leaving for there, I expected the whole thing to be a disaster. I figured that we would be staying in a hotel for the short time that we were there. I was pleasantly surprised though as not only were they civil to each other, but they were both extremely happy to see each other. The both have some issues to work out, but on the whole, I think that they have a healthy relationship again.

Jocelyn, Bionca’s little half-sister was a trip. She has Asperger’s Disorder, which is similar to Autism, though instead of making her introverted, it has the opposite effect. She was a little bundle of energy, who made sure that her presense was known. She could be a bit much at times, but she was very bright, affectionate, and cute.

There is more, but I think that this is long enough. More later.
