This was one of my better birthdays that I have had in years. We started off by going to Café Tu Tu Tango, where Jon and Melissa, my folks, and Heather joined Bionca and me. Bionca and I actually got there a little late. Everyone was already there. Earlier in the day, we had gone to Red Lobster and so when I got there, I wasn’t terribly hungry, but that is one nice thing about that place is since they sell tapas, and you can really adjust how much you want to eat.
After that Heater, Bionca, and I went to City Jazz where we saw Toxic Audio. This was one of the best concerts that I have attended. I was blown away by their talent. Not only were they excellent singers, but they were great entertainers. They masterfully blended comedy, rehearsed numbers, and off-the-cuff improvisation. Afterward, I got a chance to talk to them (except Michelle who took off early), and bought a CD which they signed.
Jon and Melissa gave me a very large book on the history of space flight. I look forward to going through it. It looks like it is very comprehensive. I really like it. My folks got me a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W30 digital camera. Its a great little camera, and with the 1 GB memory card, it has a great capacity. Since they had me open it the night before, I was able to take these pictures…
