Well, we checked into the hotel, and it is in a really neat location. I can look out the window and see the Air Force Memorial (well the top of it, as I can mostly see a roof). We are staying at the Sheraton. Personally, I prefer the La Quinta. The room is a little bigger here, but since this is a “nicer” hotel, they like to nickel and dime you. Our rooms are $79 a night (cheap for DC), but what we didn’t know was that parking is $16 a day… Toss in the fact that you have to pay $10 a day for internet access, and there is no included breakfast, and it really doesn’t sound as nice of a deal. Bionca is excited about staying in a “nice” hotel at least.

Oh well, at least the bathroom is a little larger.

One thing that I didn’t like about the last room was that there wasn’t enough power outlets. This room seems to have the same problem, but on top of that, the TV doesn’t have a component input, meaning no Guitar Hero.

I am definitely not impressed.

Bionca is in the shower getting ready to go out, and I am here writing in my blog, but we are going to be going out to Meskerem Ethiopian Resturant. I’m looking forward to it, though I am not sure if Bionca is. Oh well, she should have told me what she would be interested in for dinner. :)

I will upload pictures and video tonight assuming that I can stomach paying extra for a service that should be included.
