For a while now, Bionca has been in pain from back and neck spasms that were affecting her head too. She was unable to sleep all this week. She had made an appointment with the doctor on Thursday (yesterday) but on Wednesday night she was in so much pain that she decided to go to an Urgent Care clinic. I looked online at all of the clinics that are in our area for one that was open that late (8pm), and after calling like 20 or 30 places, I found one about 20 minutes away. When there it was pretty empty, and we were lucky. It only took like 20 minutes for her to see a doctor, and in another 15 she was done, and we left. We went to CVS to pick up her prescription of muscle relaxers (I assume that they didn’t give her pain meds because her symptoms are too similar to what script junkies complain of). She took it and was able to sleep. We both were.
She is still a bit sore, but feeling better than she has in weeks. She thinks that the problem is our bed. It is old, and needs replacing, so I don’t doubt it. I don’t really want to look for a bed right now, since I would like to completely replace it with a larger one when we have the room for it, and not just the mattress. Maybe we can get an inexpensive mattress for now, and then use it later as a guest bed.
