Digital Time Capsule

I try to keep up with friends via their blogs, and I have been reading the blog f an old friend of mine from the Camerilla named Dawn. It’s always interesting to hear what she is up to on her Live Journal account. I realized that I still had an account, and more importantly, I still had POSTS on there! I had an old account on there once, but after some period of inactivity all of my posts were deleted, so I figured that the ones that I made after that point would have been too. I guess they changed their policy.

Here is the really cool part, though. There are posts from when I first started dating Bionca! I was so excited when I started reading it, I almost fell out of my chair. So, here it is… My old Live Journal:

Note that at the time, I was more worried about giving out names online, so I changed the names. Here is the Key:

Mina –> Heather
Micheal –> Bill
Sonya –> Bionca
Holly –> Amy
Bruce –> Chad
Sasha –> (Why am I drawing a blank on her name?)


Also note that my pseudonyms got a little screwed up. I said that Sonya hooked up with Bruce, but I meant Sasha. So, no, Bionca did not hook up with Chad. As we all know now, she started dating me.

This is exactly why I write in this blog, and why I don’t use WordPress. If for some reason, I got disinterested in keeping this blog up and completely neglected it, it would still be here. If I was paying for hosting for it, and I just let it lapse, all of that data (all of those memories) would be lost.
