Okay, I give up. I admit it. I love Twitter.

For the longest time, I didn’t get it. I mean why would I bother with a blogging service that I can only use 140 characters per post? I am already blogging, and I have unlimited length. Mobile blogging? Please… I can do that through email, no problem and I have that on my phone. Following people? Isn’t that what RSS is for? Instant updates and conversations with people? Heard of a thing called IM or IRC?

Okay, so I am not going to write a guide here. It’s simple to use. A monkey can figure that out. Here’s the magic in the sauce. It’s only 140 characters or less.

I can hear it now, “But Jason, didn’t you just say that is why you didn’t get it?”

Yes, but that was before I realized just how freeing that is. Before I would only post on weekends, when I had time, or big events. Now, I “tweet” about smaller events. While they might not be big events, or something that I want to spending 30 minutes writing several paragraphs on it, they are bits of my life, and worth remembering. I have no problem with sending out a tweet at any time, since I know that I can only do 140 characters worth of damage to my schedule, and as a result, my posting has increased quite a bit, and less of my memories are lost to meat failure. Now you can either follow my tweets on Twitter, or see my latest on here.

Isn’t technology wonderful?
