We have been pretty busy this weekend. We packed up a lot of stuff, and cleaned a lot more. We brought some of it to the storage place so as to get it out of the way, and some of it is still here, awaiting transportation to the new apartment. The mattress to our bed is on the floor, and the frame is in pieces, but it is also repaired and no longer harboring dust buffalo.
Our car’s air-conditioning system seems to be having some issues. It will sometimes go out, and when we turn it off and back on, it comes on (and generally stays that way). Hopefully it is nothing major, and something that can wait for a little while we get settled. We also have other things that we need for the new place (like a Wii). In any case, we need to get it checked out.
The best thing though is that the move is this week! We go to sign the papers on Thursday, and can move in then. I am going to take off Thursday and Friday, so this will be a very short week for me, since we had today (Monday) off.
I think that every week should be a two day work-week. Too bad, Dave doesn’t see things that way…
