Afterward, we went to see Iron Man at Festival Bay. While I had heard that it was a good movie, I was still surprised with it. I don’t think that there was a weak actor on screen, the story was great, the visuals were spectacular and well integrated, and the chemistry with all of the actors was great. My only complaint was that the Black Sabbath song wasn’t used until the end credits, and then it was just the end of the song. Oh well. It really isn’t about the comic character anyway.
Finally, we went to the apartment complex. I was surprised that the security guard let us just go in when we told him that we were a perspective resident looking to tour the place at night. He might have been informed, since Bionca talked to the management to make sure that it would be okay. We drove all around the place and were pleased with what we saw. We got there at about 8 p.m. which was right after sun-down. One of the first things that we noticed was that there were some kids playing outside, which we took as a good sign. It was very well lit, and while they are still working on the landscaping a bit, it was still well manicured, and all of the cars looked like nice cars with even a few really nice ones. We felt very comfortable, and Bionca especially liked how the stairs were housed.
So it’s full steam ahead on the plans. We should be signing the papers this week.
