For the past few mornings, I have been waking up before 6:30 am naturally. Right now, we have blinds but no curtains, so the sun comes right into the room. At first, I thought that this was a bad thing, but now I kind of like it. When I wake up, it isn’t that jolting from deep sleep that I get with my alarm, but the gentle awareness on naturally waking. When I wake up, I feel rested and ready to start the day. I have been getting ready in like 30 minutes, and I still have time to do other things before I head out. For instance, this morning I was organizing some of my music on my iPod, and got to eat breakfast.

The one thing that I worry about with it is when the sun starts coming up later. I would like to keep this method of waking. Maybe I should get one of those sunrise alarm clocks where it starts to get brighter as the time that you want to wake up approaches.

    They have alarm clocks like that…freaking cool! Not that it’d work for me, bright or dark I can sleep so I need the jolt.
