I’m a bit late posting about it, but I figured, what the heck. It really was a nice (long) weekend. On Thursday, we went to Rosie’s place to spend the holiday with Bionca’s family. Since Bionca had to be at work at 4am the next day, we had planned on only staying for a short time, but there is no way we were going to once the brought out the karaoke. We had a great time, and great food too.
The next day we went to Mount Dora to pick up our Christmas tree, and wound up meeting Mom, Dad, Heather, and Scott. It had been a while since I had had an opportunity to spend any time with them, so after a few hours Bionca practically had to drag me out of there.
Saturday, Bionca worked in the morning again, and I worked on cleaning the apparent and putting up the tree before Chris and Steph got there. When they did arrive, we dropped the pups off at home, and the four (including Bean) of us went shopping.
We didn’t shop too much. Just picking up a few things at Ikea, and about the time that we finished, Bionca called, and we went home. When the Florida game came on, Chris and I watched it with Bean, while Bionca and Steph went out again. From that point, we mostly just stayed at the apartment, had a few drinks, and enjoyed the company. We stayed up pretty late, and had a great time.
On Sunday, it was more of the same. It was really nice having them with us. We always have a great time together.
