Iranian protesters are being targeted for surveillance, censorship, and arrest. You can help them without much work on your part.

First, download, install, and run a Tor Relay, and make sure that if you set up a bridge that you publish it somewhere. Keep in mind that Tehran is monitoring Twitter pretty closely, and are blocking access to info.  It is better to publish your bridge key on your blog, and then post a link on Twitter to the hash that is currently being used.  [UPDATE: It's actually best to submit your bridge fingerprint to gr88proxies@googlegroups.com.] You can find what hash to use by following @iran09 and @StopAhmadi.  Here is my key:

Secondly, spread the word. Showing your support by changing the color of your avatar or whatever is one great, but it doesn’t actively help those that are fighting for information. Setting up a Tor Relay does. Let people know what they can do to actively help.  So, get out there and help.  (Don’t forget to leave your computer on.)
